GitCat
Vibe-coded Windows-first desktop Git client with Linux builds, a GitKraken alternative
About
GitCat is a lightweight desktop Git client built with Tauri 2, React 19 and a Rust core that drives the system-installed Git, with split diffs, commit details, working-tree views and a theme library. Windows 10/11 is the primary target with an NSIS installer; Linux x86_64 ships as AppImage, .deb and .rpm. The project describes itself as a vibe-coded GitKraken alternative and is at version 1.8.0.
